Environmental Management

IS014001 is a voluntary standard which outlines the criteria for an Environmental Management System (EMS) providing a framework to aid the setting up of an EMS. The main purpose of ISO14001 is to help companies conform to relevant legislation and strive to continually enhance their environmental performance through the setting of company focused goals and measures. The benefits to an organisation which adopts ISO14001 include increased conformance to regulatory and legislative requirements and reduction in levels of waste and costs.
