Introducing the New ED80
Designed for the electric vehicle market, the ED80 is a new low current Emergency Disconnect switch. Rated at 80 amperes with a Single Throw, Single Pole configuration this compact, low cost switch is primarily intended for use with battery powered vehicles but is also suitable for static power systems. It is capable of safely rupturing full load battery currents in the event of an emergency.
The ED80 is a manually operated device with a simple over-centre spring mechanism which provides a "snap action" for both opening and closing the main contacts. As with all our ED Disconnecting switches, the ED80 has been designed to provide rapid means of disconnecting batteries or other power supplies in the event of serious electrical faults.
The ED80 is an original design, competitively priced and easy to install, secured with supplied M5 posidrive mounting screws.

The SW400 catalogue sheet has been revised to include additional information in the performance table and reflect our new catalogue design layout.
The SW400 is a busbar contactor rated at 400 amperes with a single pole, single throw, normally open configuration. Designed for use in telecommunications and power distribution applications where the load is infrequently switched. These contactors are primarily for use with direct current loads, however they can also be used with alternating currents. Coil voltage can be in the range of 6 - 240 volts, and optional extras for the SW400 include auxiliary switches, brackets, a variety of coil finishes and magnetic latching, allowing the contactor to to remain closed while consuming no power. Silver plating on the main contacts is specified as standard, although there is the option to have the main contacts without silver plating.

The SU190 Catalogue Sheet has been updated to reflect our new catalogue sheet design.
An up-rated variant of the SW190 series of contactor, the SU190 has been designed to switch heavy duty D.C. loads. Rated at 250 amperes for interrupted loads and 350 amperes for uninterrupted, it is suitable for switching Resistive, Capacitive and Inductive loads. Typical applications include electric motors, hydraulic power packs, winches, speed controllers and Power Distribution Systems.

The SW300 Catalogue sheet has been revised to include information concerning the Auxiliary 'C' Option and incorporate our new catalogue sheet design.
The SW300 has been designed specfically for the Telecom industry and to meet more demanding applications where an uninterrupted load is switched. Rated at 300 ampere this compact busbar contactor is primarily for use with direct current loads however it can also be used for alternating currents.

The SU80 Catalogue Sheet has been updated with the main changes being, inclusion of details concerning the 'C' Auxiliary option and a change to the layout of the information presented.
The SU80 has the same footprint as the SW80 however it provides the thermal current rating of the SW180, resulting in a high rated contactor in a compact size. Rated at 150 Amperes for interrupted and 200 Amperes for Uninterrupted current loads, the SU80 is suitable for switching, Resistive, Capacitive and Inductive loads. Typical applications include, but are not limited to, electric motors, hydraulic power packs, winches, speed controllers, UPS and Power Distribution Systems. A cost effective, alternative to existing devices on the market, the SU80 compares favourably with sealed automotive style solenoid switches which cannot be serviced or inspected for contact wear.

The SW140 and SW225 contactors have been specifically designed to be installed within the confines of 1U Power Distribution System racks. Rated at 140 and 225 amperes respectively, they are devised for uninterrupted loads and are primarily for use with direct current loads.
The SW140 and SW225 follow the recognised design of the SW150/SW250 series.
